Mental Health
Founded in 2010, Liptember was established with the simple idea, to urge women to get sponsored to wear our bright Liptember lipsticks throughout the month of September. The team set out to fill a gap in gender specific support for women’s mental health and since its founding has raised over $10 million dollars to provide national research, programs and support services for women’s mental health across the country.
My story
Coming from someone who has suffered from anxiety and depression on and off for the last 10 years; I believe we need to continue to break the stigma around mental health..
Life is certainly not all sprinkles and rainbows and it is okay to ask for help and support. You are not alone.
May we collectively advocate this on behalf of the strong, independent women we are raised to be today and for the younger generations to come.
